How have these two wide-bodies grown their market share since launch?
In 3 minutes, Henk Ombelet discusses fleet figures, the number and length of routes flown by airlines using A350 or 787 types and he introduces analysis on the impact of long haul low cost airlines using these aircraft.
Cirium’s Fleets Analyzer shows that the 787 was introduced in 2011 by ANA, and there are now 900 in service. The A350, in service since 2014 but like the 787 didn’t start operations until early in the following year, now has around 350 aircraft in service.
