Azul named The World’s Most On-Time Airline in 2022

An award ceremony took place on March 1st at the Viracopos Airport in Sao Paulo, to mark their outstanding achievements.

Following the release of Cirium’s On-Time Performance Report for 2022, Azul Airlines has been named the most punctual Global and Latin America’s most punctual airline in both the Mainline and Network categories.

The Brazilian airline recorded an impressive 88.93% punctuality within the Global Mainline Category, as it maintained a successful performance and operated its flights 88.93% within the Latin America Mainline category and 88.37% in the Network category.

An award ceremony took place on March 1st at the Viracopos Airport in Sao Paulo, to mark their outstanding achievements.

Jeremy Bowen, Cirium Chief Executive Officer, presented Azul’s awards to John Rodgerson, Chief Executive Officer of Azul Airlines along with eight frontline staffers representing all who make on-time performance a reality for Azul. Mike Malik, Cirium Chief Marketing Officer, and Lydia Webb, Cirium Marketing Director, were also in attendance. Also in attendance were officials from the Brazilian government and members of the Brazilian press.

This is the first time a Latin American airline has won the global mainline award in the 14-year history of Cirium’s On-Time Performance.
